“This is Cortland. A mega strong 4 year old with the brightest heart around. His battle with epilepsy, hydrocephalus, and a chromosomal abnormality called 1p36 deletion syndrome has left him with a trach and some disabilities but it will never stop him from living his best life. He loves to eat, laugh, and wrestle with Daddy and sister on a daily basis. He is our constant reminder so grateful for the smallest things in life and to always cherish what we have. We can all learn a lesson from Cortland to never stop fighting the good fight. We are so thankful to be part of this Madsen family and can’t wait for this 100 degree weather to kick rocks so we can enjoy fun filled rides again!” - Whitney Webb-O'Connor
